The Carol Godby Theatre Workshop is one of the largest independent drama workshops outside of London. There are over 1,400 children and adults aged 4 - 80 years attending classes on a weekly basis.
The workshop aims to develop social skills and build confidence as well as providing training in acting, singing and dancing techniques for TV, film and radio. The workshop also offers its members opportunities to perform within our pop shows, show cases and festivals of plays.
Many of the members go on to join Linton Management and secure background work on TV programmes and commercials and many have also had audition opportunities and gained main roles. The workshop has launched the careers of some of the most recognisable faces still in soaps and dramas today including Ralf Little, Jenny McAlpine and Vicky Binns as well as the main actors still with us today.
